Despite our disappointment with the pools, my husband and I will return, but won’t count on the pools, to draw us back. This is the only reason I did not give all stars to our stay. It would be a shame to see that important feature of the resort, get left behind. What happened? They need a deep cleaning, and it’s a huge maintenance issue, possibly being due to short staff everywhere? I noticed a few other comments about the pools, but I’m hopeful this will be taken care of in the near future. They are not maintained at the same high standards that were in place 5 years ago. Our only disappointment, were the outdoor pools. Our room faced the mountains, it was clean, the a/c kept us comfortable, and the fresh baked cookies offered at the front desk was a nice treat. The tennis clinics that we participated in did not disappoint us. We enjoyed our trip, the location,and our hotel stay.
